Why go talc free?
Talc has been linked to various gynaecological cancers and mesothelioma in thousands of cases. In January 2023 came the news that Johnson & Johnson have agreed to pay $8.9 billion dollars to settle all its lawsuits relating to its talc baby powder product, despite continuing to deny the link with cancer. Given the various financial shenanigans they have engaged in to try to sidestep their liability with this product, and the fact that talc is often found side-by-side with asbestos, we think it is wise to be cautious about the use of talc, especially in babies and female intimate areas.
We have kaolin based powders which are safer to use, and combined with neem leaf powder, this means a powder that is absorbent and will help stop fungal, yeast and bacterial infections, especially in areas prone to retaining moisture like skin folds.
