It can be difficult to know how to care for a new puppy- and there is a lot of conflicting advice out there! While grooming routines will depend on the breed, it's important to get puppies used to having teeth and paws cleaned regularly.

Our shampoos are parabens, SLS and SLES free and cruelty free. Puppy shampoo contains chamomile- a calming scent to help reduce stress in your young or sensitive pet.
Why avoid parabens? Parabens are present in many cosmetics to stop the growth of mould and bacteria, and can be absorbed through the skin. They are hormone disruptors and promote skin cancer.
Why avoid SLS? SLS is a harsh detergent that strips the skin and coat of natural oils, causing it to flake, itch and leading the way to dermatitis and eczema. SLS doesn't rinse off easily and remains on hair follicles, weakening them and causing hair loss.
Why avoid SLES? This is another harsh detergent that causes irritation and damages the skin barrier. SLES is often contaminated with 1,4 dioxane-a cancer-causing chemical.
