Four Seasons, originally developed for shire horses, is a gentle herbal preparation made from 100% natural ingredients, used and trusted for hundreds of years, and tolerated by even the most sensitive animals. Four Seasons will not adversely affect the protective natural gut flora.
Historically, animals were able to roam freely and forage from their habitat, self-selecting what was needed to support various aspects of their health, including that of the gut. The combination of herbal and homeopathic ingredients in Four Seasons, fed on at least one day each month, helps create subtle changes within the gut and acts as a replacement to natural foraging. Four Seasons stimulates bile flow and makes the gut environment inhospitable to worms.
A variety of reasons are causing many horse owners to take a more natural approach to animal welfare. If you have any concerns about your animal, always consult a qualified Veterinarian for advice.

We've used this for several years on our c4ts. We occasionally rotate with other herbal types. This one, though, always produces the odd brown-stained dead wriggly thing. We think that the brown is from the herbs because live wrigglers are white. We raw feed and they have no problem eating it in their food. As with all antiwrigglything treatments, give it around a full moon when the wrigglers are at their most active. Sometimes we also give at a new moon two weeks later, when needed. Great product! Given the significant and well-documented harms caused by chemical treatments, whether spot-on or added to food or injected, we'll stick with this because a) it's very cheap and b) it works and c) it doesn't carry the harms of the aforementioned chemicals nukes.
Having heard about the Neem Team from a friend, and then meeting Julie and learning more about their company, I was very keen to try their products. I much prefer to use natural supplements where possible and I'm passionate about gut health for wellbeing so this seemed to tick all the boxes. The service from the team was wonderful - very helpful and efficient - and delivery was prompt. The liquid itself is a lovely rich colour and smells amazing. It's obviously made with care from a wonderful selection of herbs and spices. I put it in the horses' feed and they ate every mouthful. I'm now looking forward to seeing the results and - hopefully - a nice low worm count. Our gelding had a rough start in life, which impacted on his gut, so I'm hoping that this product will give him that little extra support.
I have used this product for many years . Horses lost weight one winter and a friend whose horse was with us for a few years took mares dung to be tested. Worm count came back clear.Sold a horse to lady in Cornwall. She phoned to tell me before putting any horses in her field they were kept in and wormed. She said the mare I sold her had no worms in her dung whereas the horse from a breeder had dung full of worms.I’ve always found this wormer excellent, safe and reliable.
I have been using Four Seasons for about eight months. I monitor my horses' worm burden by faecal egg count every three months, and my older horse has generally had very low worm counts, although I did need to dose him for tapeworm in the Autumn after a blood test showed a raised antibody count. My younger horse is a rescue case and therefore more vulnerable. The first time I used Four Seasons he had a mild colic attack, so I gave him the dose for seven days, which seemed to settle him down. His next worm count was very high so he was given a wormer, but after that the levels have reduced. I would say that Four Seasons probably helps to promote worm resistance, but regular monitoring is still essential.
