Our pharmaceutical grade Bentonite clay powder is extremely absorbent- useful for external application on exudative/weeping skin irritations, and for absorbing toxins in the gut when given internally. The combination can also be used to give pets a no-poo shampoo by combing through the coat.
Bentonite is a naturally occurring hydrated aluminium silicate; a highly absorbent clay which is composed of minerals including iron, silica and aluminium, it is usually formed from volcanic ash which has been aged by time and can vary in colour from dark grey to greenish-grey. Our Bentonite clay has been tested to be free of asbestos and other impurities.
